Vietnam Exempts Visa for 13 Countries from 15 March 2022

The Government of Vietnam has just issued Resolution No. 32/NQ-CP dated 15 March 2022 regarding a 15-day visa exemption program for citizens of 13 countries. 

Accordingly, from 15 March 2022, citizens from 13 countries in the list below will be allowed to visit Vietnam for up to 15 days without a visa, regardless of passport type and entry purpose, if the visitors fully meet the conditions prescribed by Vietnamese laws:

  • Russia
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • Norway
  • South Korea
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • The U.K
  • Belarus

The visa exemption policy on entry to Vietnam for citizens of the above countries is implemented for a 3-year period, from 15 March 2022 to the end of 14 March 2025. The program will be considered for an extension in accordance with provisions of Vietnamese law.
